Payment: We accept all credit and debit cards, and use a secure payment system called ‘Sage Pay’ (formally called Protx). We do not see or hold your card details at anytime of the process. The checkout forms have an option for sending a cheque if you prefer, made payable to ‘Richard Bramble’. Delivery costs: All shipping charges are kept to a minimum and are done at cost, fully insured and packed to arrive in perfect condition. You are able to view the shipping costs by using the shopping basket before placing your order. Delivery times: Mail order is normally sent out twice weekly. If you require your order to arrive by a specific date please let us know in the questions & comments box on the checkout page when ordering. Saturday deliveries: depending on your address this may be possible however our couriers charge us an extra £15 for this service. Please either let us know in the questions & comments box on the checkout page when ordering and we will contact you to advise if this is possible and if so ask payment details to cover the extra courier charge, or we can advise in advance of ordering by calling us on 01935 815236. UK deliveries are on a 24 hour or 48 hour trackable signed for service and we aim to deliver within 5 working days from the order being placed if not sooner. The exception are small orders with postage under £6.50, which are sent by Royal Mail (normally 1st class) to keep the postage cost down, these and are not trackable but fully insured. European & Worldwide deliveries: European are on a 3 to 4 working day trackable signed for service, Worldwide are on a up to 8 working day trackable signed for service. The exception are small orders under 2kg in weight (delivery cost under £30) which are sent by Royal Mail Airmail to keep the delivery cost down. These are not trackable but fully insured and can take up to 10 working days to arrive. For international addresses we strongly recommend and appreciate any additional delivery information we can pass onto our couriers to help a swift and problem free delivery. Signed for & Special delivery instructions: Most parcels are sent by courier with a signature required. If you are not in when the courier tries to deliver, they will leave an instruction card on how to get your parcel redelivered. For a swift delivery please give us any extra information when ordering in the 'comments & questions box' on the checkout page, so we can put this on your parcel for our couriers. This could be if your address if difficult to find, if not in requesting leaving your parcel with a neighbour, or if not in leaving in a special place instead of signature (please note we cannot be held responsible for loss of a parcel if you opt for no signature to be taken, and it is at the discretion of the delivery driver whether they will leave a parcel without a delivery signature. Normally they will but it is not guaranteed). Stock: We are normally fully stocked but if we are short of any items on your order we will contact you to advise on timings or alternatives. Free personalised message: When sending as a present we enclose a personal note for you free of charge on a Richard Bramble postcard, just let us know your message in the 'questions & comments' box on the checkout form. Tax (VAT currenlty at 17.5%) exempt orders: Orders shipped to an address outside Europe are tax (VAT) free. Which means you save 17.5% on the UK price of the goods which is reflected in the total amount shown on the order form. However most countries outside Europe have import taxes so you will normally have to pay this to the courier company delivering who pay it to Customs (sometimes they call this a brokerage fee). This charge varies depending on the country, for example, currently for the USA there is a 6% import tax on ceramics, so your total tax saving from the UK price is reduced to 11.5%. Returns: If we have made an error in your order, goods have broken in transit, or anything is faulty we will replace them free of charge with no shipping charge. If the goods are not faulty but you are unhappy with your order we can exchange or refund (less the shipping charge) once we have the goods back in their original new condition (please pack them carefully so they arrive back in one piece). |
